How Remixd works.
Plain words, no small print.
Fees
Every coin launched here charges a 2.00% fee on each buy and sell. Launching is free apart from Solana's network rent. A fixed 20% of the fee goes to the protocol. The other 80% is paid out every period:
| to | of the fee | of volume | note |
|---|---|---|---|
| Protocol | 20% | 0.40% | fixed |
| Platform | 20% | 0.40% | us |
| Creators | 20% | 0.40% | each creator gets their own coin's share |
| Trader pot | 40% | 0.80% | the period's top 20 traders |
Our own token, $REMIXD, is separate: it has its own curve with a 3% fee (3% again after graduation) that goes to the platform. It is not in the pot, its trades don't count toward the leaderboard, and its holders aren't paid from platform-coin fees.
Washing the pot loses money. The pot returns at most 0.80% of volume (40% of a 2% fee) while trading costs 2%. Even a wallet that is all of a period's volume loses about 1.2% of what it trades.
Net: about −1.2% of everything you trade, even with 100% of a period's volume.
Payday
- At the end of every hour, the fees of every coin that traded are collected.
- Whatever the fees were paid in (SOL, a stable, a stock, another coin) is swapped to SOL.
- Creators get 20% of the fee from their own coin's trading, sent straight to their wallet. Nobody has to claim anything.
- The trader pot (40%) goes to the period's top 20 wallets by SOL volume in platform coins, weighted by volume. No wallet gets more than 20% of the pot; anything above the cap is shared among the rest.
- Our own wallets and our own token are excluded.
- Every payout is written to the public ledger with its transaction.
Each period is paid exactly once: nobody is paid twice and nobody is skipped.
Pairs & remixes
A coin is always priced in something: its pair. SOL is the default. You can also pick a stable, a tokenized stock, a crypto asset, or paste any coin's contract address: a pump.fun coin, a Bonk coin, a coin launched here. Coins with transfer restrictions or transfer fees can't be used as a pair; the form tells you.
Buyers always pay and receive SOL. For a coin paired with something else, a buy routes SOL → pair → coin in one transaction (and a sell the reverse), with your slippage applied to both legs. So every buy of a coin priced in $X also buys $X.
A remix is a coin paired with another coin. The Remix button on any coin pre-fills the form. Remixes of a hot coin pump that coin, which gives its holders a reason to share them. The original creator gets no royalty from remixes; they earn from their own coin's fees, which remix buys increase.
No gates, caps, cooldowns or allowlists. Any wallet, any amount, any time, any terminal.
Fan subscriptions
Subscribe to a creator and you buy their next launches automatically, right after the create transaction lands, at the opening price.
- You pick an amount per launch and a maximum number of launches.
- You approve one transaction that sets aside per-launch × max SOL in an account you own, spendable only on those buys.
- When the creator launches a SOL-paired coin here, your per-launch amount buys it. The coins go to your wallet.
- Cancel at any time: whatever is left comes back to your wallet.
We never hold your SOL, and only what you approved can be spent. Auto-buys cover SOL-paired launches only. A creator you follow can still launch something you don't like: check their past launches on their creator page first.
